If you would like a computer from us, these are the options.
This is the only option that does not require you to join the computer club.
To obtain this completely free internet ready computer, you must complete at least 2 training sessions with us, which will take approximately 2 hours. You can then take home the computer which you have been trained on.
The training is called Online Basics, provided by UK Online.
You will be required to sign a form confirming that you are a new internet user, and that you have not completed the Online Basics course previously at another centre.
A utility bill or similar showing name and address will also be required. Only one computer per address with this offer which is subsidised by UK Online.
The following options are only open to computer club members. Membership costs £1 per week.
A completely free computer when you join the computer club.
The computer is supplied without software, and will not work until software is installed. This option is for experienced users who have their own software, and the ability to install it. This computer comes with a 17" CRT monitor (not a flat screen)
The next option comes with a flat screen and has a setup/admin fee of £50 applied which covers the cost of setting up the machine to suit your requirements.
If you cannot install your own software, you need this.
This is a once only fee, if we replace or upgrade you machine, the fee is not charged again.
This fee is payable on collection of the computer.
As long as your computer club membership remains in force, all our facilities are free to you. The Computer supplied is unconditionally guaranteed, all repairs and upgrades are free.
