Never buy another computer, or pay for another repair.
Parts, labour and computers are free to Blackpool computer club members. All refurbished computers supplied by the club are unconditionally guaranteed for the life of the membership. For any problem at all, you can request an exchange, and your computer will be replaced free of charge, 'no questions asked'
We once replaced a computer because it was the wrong colour!
Your computer can also be replaced yearly with a better specification on request.

Each paying member of the club can request 1 second user computer (without software) which will be provided free of charge.

All computers will be second hand, generally donated by business, industry, schools or colleges when they upgrade. This means that the equipment will always be more than 3 years old.
Unlimited warranty
If the base unit, monitor or keyboard fail, the failed item can be returned to the workshop for an exchange. An appointment must be made before the item is returned, to allow time for a replacement to be prepared. The warranty will remain in force as long as the membership fees continue to be paid.
NOTE: Guarantee only applies to fully paid up members.
Club members can upgrade their machine each year.
Club members can replace their machine for any reason under our no quibble guarantee.
Backup
If a machine is replaced, work would be lost if it had not been backed up.
Backup can take many forms. For example, you may keep your photographs on Flickr or Picasa, you may keep your music on an ipod, you make keep your files in Dropbox or MS Livemesh or on a USB stick, all your emails may be in gmail and so on.
If you have stuff that is important to you, you should back it up now, not later when it may not be possible. If you are unsure of how to do this, we run a free course for members.
Security
Computers are becoming more secure, and the user is now becoming the target. Look at this site for tips on how to stay safe online:-
